Papabile in 2nd 1978 conclave?
[edit]Of course I am not privy to discussions regarding what went on in the conclaves, but a secular source, after John Paul I died in 1978, went looking for another "pastoral" prelate and came up with Ballestrero. Like the case of Montini in 1958, this chance was remote or nonexistent, because each of these cases cited someone who at the time was not a cardinal. Carlm0404 (talk) 13:18, 9 October 2019 (UTC)
